The villa is conveniently located just fifteen minutes stroll from Kalkan town centre and charming Harbour. BRILLIANT FOR TWO FAMILIES SHARING.Read on....
This newly constructed Villa, nestled above the village of Kalkan on one side and Kalamar Bay on the other, and yet only 15 minutes walk away from the town, enjoys breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
With four spacious bedrooms sleeping up to eight people, this cleverly designed villa is complimented by a large private swimming pool, Jacuzzi and large terrace area with barbecue facilities, perfect for enjoying the long, warm Turkish evenings.
The villa has a light airy feel throughout, with far reaching views across Kalamar Bay from the sitting room, while the large patio doors of the adjoining Kitchen/Dining room lead out onto the pool terrace and patio, tailor made for enjoying alfresco breakfasts, long lazy lunches, or evening barbecues. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the mod-cons, although with the many fantastic restaurants dotted around Kalkan, it will probably be the least utilized room in the Villa.
The four large bedrooms are cleverly separated between the floors, allowing two families to share without encroaching on the other.
The lower ground floor houses two bedrooms, a spacious twin and beautifully appointed master bedroom, both of which have large patio windows opening onto a charmingly private patio garden. The master bedroom enjoys an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, while across the hall from the twin bedroom there is a separate large wet-room.
The remaining two bedrooms, situated at the top of the house, on the first floor, comprise a large double with en-suite shower room and a wraparound balcony with superb views across to Kalamar Bay on the one side and the mountains on the other, and a twin bedroom with its own wet-room and superlative sea views.
All rooms are fully air conditioned, beautifully and comfortably furnished, providing you with a relaxing, friendly, home-from-home feel.
Villa Derya, is more than just a holiday villa, it's an escape.

The Mediterranean Coast and Aegean Coast / Turquoise Coast/Lycia - Muğla
The Turkish Riviera (also known popularly as the Turquoise Coast) is a term used to define an area of southwest Turkey encompassing Antalya, Muğla and to a lesser extent the provinces of Aydın, southern İzmir and western Mersin. The combination of a favorable climate, warm sea, more than a thousand kilometers of shoreline along the Aegean and Mediterranean waters, and abundant natural and archeological points of interest makes this stretch of Turkey’s coastline a popular national and international tourist destination.
Among the archeological points of interest are two of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World; the ruins of the Mausoleum of Maussollos in Halicarnassus and the Temple of Artemis in Ephesus
Kalamar Bay, Kalkan
Kalkan
It is easy to fall in love with the Mediterranean town of Kalkan, known firstly as a small fishing village and more recently as a charming resort town appealing to a sophisticated clientele.
Kalkan nestles at the foot of the Taurus Mountains on the Turquoise coast, and lures you in, almost casting a magical spell in the style of Brigadoon from the minute you approach via the winding mountain road.
Filled with history, and surrounded by beautiful architecture reminiscent of the Ottoman Empire, the narrow streets, bordered with whitewashed villas laced with brightly coloured Bougainvillia, wend their way down to the small harbour, which is both charming and cosmopolitan.
Kalkan is famous for its fabulous restaurants, catering to all tastes. In fact Kalkan has over 100 roof terrace restaurants and bars, offering charming service, wonderful food, and incredible views. There is nothing nicer than sitting under the stars on a warm Turkish evening, sipping gently on a cooling drink, while enjoying the soft sounds of the sea in the distance, accompanied by delicious food.
The people of Kalkan are warm and inviting, and as Tourism is the primary source of income, they are keen to welcome their visitors in, sharing the best of their knowledge, and hospitality, to ensure their guests return time and time again.
Shopping in Kalkan is a delight, with no pressure posed by determined vendors. You are free to browse through any number of small specialist shops without the worry of having to dodge dastardly sales persons - you are truly hassle free. Although you will have to enter into a friendly spot of bartering along the way.
Feel free to enjoy a glass of the wonderful Turkish tea when invited, and meet all manner of locals and visitors from near and afar, as you are enveloped in the charming World that is Kalkan.
But the town and surrounding area is far more than a simple resort filled with shops surrounded by a deeply historical area. It also boasts its own dive centre, and has some of the very best beaches on the Turkish coast. Take a trip on a Gulet, a wooden Mediterranean Turkish Yacht, and enjoy the famous Turquoise Coast as you could never see it from the land, and don't forget your snorkel and flippers. The sea life is fascinating. Alternatively, or additionally, you could walk the longest gorge in Turkey, view spectacular Lycian cities, enjoy mountain excursions and much much more.
Whatever you choose to do on your holiday .. choose Kalkan, it's a world apart.
